So, I see the Devils are off to a slow start this season. I guess next year at the draft, instead of taking 10 minutes per selection, you might want to take 20 minutes (this way you could interview each draft selections mother, grade school teacher, and hockey coach before actually picking that player).....

I like getting home at 1am after the draft...

ATG....

The draft is going to be a 2 day event next year.....

The First Round will be Friday evening only and the rest will be all day Saturday ....

Along with the gruelling NCHL Combine thats held.... we are gonna be ready for primetime

TSN would carry the draft.... but SHAW TV outbid them.

ON ANOTHER NOTE....

The Nanucks are holding their own banner raising ceremony next week at NIC 1 before our game against the Crushers.

Everyone is invited to attend....

The nanucks are the "self proclaimed" 06/07, 07/08, 08/09 best damn looking team of the NCHL

I am sad to hear of Georges passing. He his enthusiasm for hockey and the NCHL was infectious. He will be missed.

Please pass on my condolences to his family, friends and team mates.

I have met many great people through hockey, George was truly one of the best.

He will be missed by all who had the honour of knowing him....and will never be forgotten.
